Objectives of Ultherapy
Ultherapy is a non-surgical technique that uses focused ultrasound to treat sagging skin .
Ulthera® is the only FDA approved ultrasound based aesthetic technique.
More than 500,000 patients worldwide have already successfully undergone this treatment. Scientific studies conclude that an Ulthera® ultrasound facelift icomes very close to the outcome of a surgical facelift .
Ulthera® acts directly on the SMAS, the superficial musculo-aponeurotic system, the same dense and solid structure targeted by all current lifting techniques to obtain a lasting, natural-looking result.
The objective of this treatment is to obtain a lifting effect in a single session, without surgery and without social eviction. With Ultherapy, you can firm and tighten the oval and lower face, raise the eyebrows and eyelids, smooth the skin of the neckline, tighten the neck and refine a double chin.
Who is Ultherapy for?
Ultherapy is indicated for women and men with mild to severe sagging skin in the periorbital region, the oval of the face, the neck and the décolleté.
It is ideal for people who do not yet wish to resort to invasive, surgical methods such as a facelift.
However, Ultherapy treatment is ideal for patients wishing to maintain the results of a facelift .
An initial consultation with your specialist is essential to find out if this treatment is suitable for your particular situation.

Details of an Ultherapy session
A session can last between 30 minutes (raising the eyebrow) and 1h30 (full face and neck).
Details of the procedure
Your cosmetic doctor might advise you a sedation to minimize the pain during the treatment.
He then applies a contact gel on the area to be treated to allow the transmission of ultrasounds into the skin.
The treatment is done according to a precise, predefined and personalized protocol. Each area can be treated up to 3 times in different depth planes during a single session of Ultherapy to create a mesh of so-called “thermal coagulation” points.
The target points are identified by the doctor on the ultrasound control screen to ensure a precise, reproducible and tailor-made result .
The production of new collagen is triggered on several levels, allowing a re-tensioning of the skin.
The patient can return home right after the session.
Redness may persist for a few hours and slight swelling may occur for a few days.
You can resume your regular activities immediately after the session.
The results of Ultherapy are visible after several weeks, the time for the natural stimulation of new collagen to occur. They will usually last from 1 to 2 years.
A single treatment session with Ultherapy is enough to obtain an impressive and long-lasting result.
You can repeat this treatment as many times as you wish to maintain the tone of your skin.
