AESTHETIC THIGH SURGERY

This operation is necessary when the inner thigh slacken or when, in addition to an infiltration of fat, there is significant slackening of the skin (accordion skin folds). Blood tests are carried out before the operation in order to pick up on any possible contra-indications. The operation is performed either under general anaesthetic or under a peridural anaesthetic. An incision, made in the fold of the groin, helps to tighten up the skin and reshape the legs.

Recovering after the operation:

The patient will need to stay in the clinic for roughly 3 days. A pressure pad dressing is used and must be worn for a few weeks. Sitting down is difficult during the healing phase because of the location of the scarring. Thorough hygiene and the wearing of a step-in girdle are strongly advised for two to three weeks.

Results:

The final results can be seen after two months. This operation goes further than simple liposuction and helps to restore thighs distended by age to perfect shape.
