LIPOSTRUCTURE / LIPOFILLING

Lipostructure is recommended for the treatment of furrows, pits and volumes which need to be restored, but it cannot help to correct fine surface wrinkles, for which other techniques will be used. It helps to restore volume to the cheekbones, to treat frown lines and to restore the contours of the face. We use it to fill out cheeks or temples which are too hollow, to treat naso-labial folds and superciliary arches. It might allow us to correct irregularities of a hollow liposuction and even to perform small breast enlargements.

The fat is taken (usually under local anaesthetic) from the "donor" area (the knies, the stomach, hips, buttocks, etc.), using a fine cannula. No incision is necessary, and no visible traces remain at the site from which the fat is taken. However this must be performed in an area which is not subject to variations in weight. The implant is then carefully centrifuged and purified, removing all of its unnecessary components, before being injected evenly back into a stable recipient area.

Recovering after the operation:

Lipofilling is performed on an outpatient basis and so there is no need for the patient to stay in the clinic. You can even continue with your everyday life normally after the treatment.

Results:

The quality of the results and how well they last over time depend directly on the person performing the operation and the method used to prepare the implant. However the correction made will reduce by 30 to 60% over the next few months. The injections can be repeated with cumulative effects to achieve the best possible desired result.
