AESTHETIC EAR SURGERY

This simple operation can effectively correct the unsightly appearance of protruded ears. The operation can be performed at any age, but when carried out in childhood (the age of seven onwards) it can help to prevent any psychological and academic problems. The operation is usually performed under local anaesthetic and the stay in the clinic lasts for no longer than 24 hours.

Recovering after the operation

A bandage has to be worn for three days followed by a protective headband which must stay on day and night for around a fortnight.

There may be some temporary pain for the first two days, but pain relief will be given if this happens.

Results

The results are excellent: the scar is very discreet and is hidden behind the ear.
