FMH Anesthesiologist
An FMH specialist in anesthesiology and an SSMUS pre-hospital emergency physician, Dr. Yannick Arlettaz obtained his federal diploma in human medicine from the University of Geneva in 2013. He then trained in several leading Swiss hospitals, including the Inselspital in Bern and the Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV), specializing in anesthesia, intensive care, and emergency medicine.

His career is distinguished by rare experience in critical situations. As a senior physician at Rega, he managed the repatriation of intensive care patients worldwide, as well as the medical supervision of helicopter rescues. Today, he serves as an emergency physician for Air Glaciers and, since 2025, has held the position of Chief Medical Officer of Rescue Services for the Canton of Valais. He is also a member of the Swiss Humanitarian Aid Unit, mobilized by the Confederation during natural disasters or conflicts.

Holder of the international diploma in mountain medicine and rescue, Dr. Arlettaz is the Chief Medical Officer for army air rescue and a staff officer for the Patrouille des Glaciers, where he manages the medical setup for high-altitude posts.

At Laclinic-Montreux, Dr. Arlettaz provides anesthesia for aesthetic surgery and other surgical fields, whether under general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, or sedation. Since 2024, he has been applying his experience for the benefit of Laclinic patients, offering a dual expertise: the precision of anesthesia and the mastery of emergency situations. Before each procedure, he speaks with you by phone to review your health status, then meets you on the morning of the surgery to answer your questions and provide reassurance.

"Anesthesia is the art of putting you to sleep and the science of watching over you throughout the procedure. Your safety is the anesthesiologist's priority, and my role is to ensure you feel confident, from our first conversation through to your recovery. "
